Processing of personal data

Whistleblowers: If you have chosen to disclose your identity when making your report, we process general personal data about you in the form of your name, your e-mail address and your telephone number.

The purpose of the processing of your personal data is to carry out a closer investigation of the matter to which the report relates, conduct subsequent case processing of the report and ensure documentation of the course of events in connection with the report.

The legal basis for the processing of ordinary personal data in relation to whistleblower reports is the general data protection regulation's article 6, subsection 1, letter c (legal obligation), cf. act on the protection of whistleblowers § 9. If you send us sensitive personal data, the basis for processing is the general data protection regulation's article 9, subsection 2, letter g

Persons being reported

If another person has made a report that mentions you, we will process the information provided in the report.

The purpose of the processing of your personal data is to carry out a closer investigation of the matter to which the report relates, conduct subsequent case processing of the report and ensure documentation of the course of events regarding the report.

Recipients of personal data

In connection with the processing of your personal data, we entrust these to be processed by our data processors, including the IT supplier who administrates and hosts our reporting solution (Blanner Compliance ApS).

We will, to the greatest extent possible, keep your personal data confidential in connection with any subsequent case processing of the reported matter. We will therefore only pass on information about your identity in cases where

  • case processing is carried out by an external adviser and disclosure is made to this external adviser,
  • the report results in a police investigation and disclosure is made to the police,
  • disclosure is required by applicable law or
  • you give your consent for us to pass on information about your identity.

Retention period for personal data

We delete your personal data when the processing of these is deemed not to be necessary in order to fulfill our obligations in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Whistleblowers and other relevant special legislation that has a bearing on the individual report. We thus delete your personal data when we no longer have a legitimate purpose for storing it.

We will store your personal data on the case as long as the case processing of the relevant report is ongoing, just as we will store the information as long as we are obliged to ensure documentation for the case's processing and outcome.

Your rights

According to the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act, you have a number of rights when we process personal data about you.

Right to have insight (right of access)

You have the right to request insight into the information that we process about you, as well as a range of additional information.

Right to rectification

You have the right to request that inaccurate information about yourself be corrected.

Right to erasure

You have the right to request the deletion of information about you before the time of our general deletion occurs.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. If you have the right to have the processing restricted, we may in future only process the information - apart from storage - with your consent, or in order for legal claims to be established, asserted or defended, or to protect a person or important public interests.

Right to data portability

You have the right to request to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to request that this personal data be transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.

Right to object

In some cases, you have the right to object to otherwise lawful processing of your personal data due to your particular personal situation.

Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Authority
